IN BLOOM by Esteban Rodriguez

IN BLOOM by Esteban Rodriguez

We are excited to announce that Esteban Rodriguez’s new collection, In Bloom, debuts this month from Texas A&M University Press.

The collection is a lyrical and sweeping portrayal of loneliness, heritage, and faith. Poet Jose Antonio Rodriguez remarks, “Through his world of layaway purchase, backyard hangouts, and sun-scorched Christmas lights, Rodriguez offers us hard-won truths about family, love, and the mysteries of masculinity. This is a lovely book and a gift to all.”

Two of Rodriguez’s poems, “La lechuza” and “Ode to Layaway,” appeared in the Autumn 2017 issue.

Esteban Rodriguez is the author of Dusk & Dust (Hub City Press, 2019). His poetry has appeared in the Gettysburg Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, New England Review, Puerto del Sol, Washington Square Review, and Water~Stone Review. He currently serves as the interviews editor for the EcoTheo Review, an assistant poetry editor for AGNI, and a regular contributor to PANK and Heavy Feather Review. A native of the Rio Grande Valley, he currently lives with his family and teaches in Austin, Texas.
